Down in the heart of the American South, among the hot, humid hills, a threat lurks. Arkansas’s Hillbilly shrooms is a particularly virulent member of the Cubensis fungus family. It is similar to members of the same family, such as Golden Teachers and Amazonians. This strain is currently seen growing naturally on five additional continents. Hillbilly shrooms have a classic Cubensis look, with smaller, shallower crowns that are uniformly orange in color. The stalk of the Hillbilly is somewhat smaller in diameter than the cap; it is thicker towards the tip and tapers toward the base.
