This is an ancient strain which can trace its roots back to the Amazon forest. This species is one of the most popular and widely available strains in the Canadian market.
Our Amazonian shrooms typically have thick dense stems with large golden reddish caps, often splitting at the margins.

Amazonian Spawn Overview
Our inoculated grain spawn is used for indoor production of mushrooms using manure-based bulk substrate. Grain spawn comes fully colonised with a high-output isolated sub-strain cloned for maximum yield and minimum incubation time. The bags have breathable contaminant-filtering .2micron filter patches and weigh approximately 3.5 lbs each.
Amazonian Instructions – Beginner
These are a great mushroom for beginner indoor cultivators. They are reliable producers and are forgiving with contaminants.
Amazonian grain spawn can be mixed into sterilised or pasteurised manure-based substrate within a mono-tub to eventually fruit out.
